Publishing is one click. Your latest version goes live on your free Forgelo subdomain immediately, with SSL handled for you.
How to publish
- Open your project in the editor.
- Click Publish. Your site is live seconds later at your project's Forgelo address.
- The publish panel shows your live URL. Share it right away or connect a custom domain later.
Publishing again after new edits updates the live site to your latest version. You can also publish a specific older version from the versions panel.
The WhatsApp placeholder warning
If your draft still contains an example WhatsApp number (the generator inserts one when you did not provide a real number), Forgelo warns you at publish time. The publish still goes through, but replace the placeholder as soon as possible, otherwise customer messages will go nowhere. Send an edit prompt like: "Replace all WhatsApp numbers with 62812xxxxxxx."
Unpublishing
Click Unpublish in the same panel to take the site offline. Your content and versions are kept, and you can publish again whenever you want.
If your site was suspended
Sites that violate the acceptable use policy can be taken down by an admin and cannot be republished until the issue is resolved. If you believe a suspension is a mistake, contact support and we will review it.
